See Azealia Banks, The Gaslight Anthem, Frightened Rabbit, and More for Free

The only thing that beats free shows are free shows in the summer. Thanks to Red Bull, a new concert series called Red Bull Sound Select will be happening in ten cities across America from July 26 – 28. Artists include The Gaslight Anthem, Metric, Azealia Banks, Dirty Projectors, Frightened Rabbit, Erykah Badu, Juicy J, Yeasayer, and plenty more. Each event has been curated by “local music influences”, so there’s some local flavor in there, too.

Cities being hit up are Atlanta, Austin, Chicago, Dallas, Minneapolis, Nashville, New York, Philadelphia, Seattle, and West Hollywood. Yes, I am tearing up over the fact that Boston has been left out of all the fun. See who is playing in which city here.

Even though the shows are free, you have to do quite a bit of work to get in. You must fill out a personal social media profile on Red Bull Sound Select’s website and then request a ticket. Although considering each show’s lineup, it’s worth it. Ticket requests to the shows end tomorrow though, so act fast.
