Duck. Little Brother, Duck! Robbed Of Custom Guitar

Emo math rock band Duck. Little Brother, Duck! have a warm space in my heart. Their last album made my top 10 from 2012, and I sincerely believe one of the best emo lyrics of all time comes from “Steve Jobs” off their first album, Survival Is Not A Workout.

All of this leads me to say it’s heartbreaking what happens to the best of artists: guitarist Kyle Parisi had his custom, self-made guitar stolen from him yesterday morning. The Portland, Oregon band will search for it; having been robbed of an instrument before, I know that if it isn’t found soon, it likely will never be found.

The band posted a statement and a photo on Facebook that reads as follows:

This morning the guitar I built and play and love exclusively was stolen out of Phil’s car in NE Portland. If anyone has any clues as to where it might be I will personally give you every other thing I own* because none of it matters as much as this. It is a seafoam green jazzmaster body, with a dark wenge unfinished neck. No decals, all handpainted and wired. It will not be worth much to anyone on ebay or craigslist, but it means the world to me.

Obviously, if you have any information, please contact them at their Facebook page. We wish them luck in finding what is rightfully theirs.
