What Happened In Vegas have posted a video response explaining being in possession of fake Warped Tour passes earlier today in Camden, NJ.
The band tells us that they made the specific passes (only) so they could get into and out of the shows each day with ease. This action has forced the Warped Tour staff to kick WHIV off the remaining tour dates. Read the official statement below and watch the apology video after the jump.
“It is our deepest regret that we had to make this video. This was nobody’s fault except our own. We are truly sorry to all of our fans that put in an extreme amount of effort helping us with our recent endeavor to play the Michigan Warped Tour date. This is something unforgivable and we take complete and full responsibility for our actions.
TO CLEAR THINGS UP WE NEVER SOLD/DISTRIBUTED FAKE LAMINATES/TICKETS. The false laminates that were mentioned online by Vans Warped Tour Officials were used solely by us. The acclaimed “scamming” and “thieving” was in regards to “scamming” and “thieving” from the Warped Tour itself, NOT to the tour attendees waiting in line.
Much of the public online discussion of our actions has been falsely altered, as the only Vans Warped Tour Official statements that have been released have been short and vague. We hope this video can clear up any confusion towards this matter.

Good guys great music lets give them a chance to redeem themselves. Don’t jump the gun on these kids we have all done dumb stuff in our day but what we learn from the mistakes ultimately make us who we are.
They have had chance after chance…and have done some genuinely shitty and shady things to ex-members (and their friends) in the past.. This simply proves that they haven’t changed a bit!
If you are going to go public with a video response like this…you’d think that you would speak from the heart, and not be reading some pre-written apology, as you are in the video.. Anyone can write a scripted, thought-out, pitiful sounding apology..
No respect…I just wish Ashley could’ve performed the tour without the conniving, scamming, bastard(s) band-members pulling this shit.
