Aaron Marsh Performs Live For First Time In 3 Years (Footage Available)

Copeland frontman Aaron Marsh has been away from the music scene for the last few years, but over the weekend he made a triumphant return by opening for Floridian rockers Anberlin with a special solo set. Lucky for us, someone caught the performance on tape.

Seated alone on stage with only his piano by his side, Marsh quietly introduced himself as the guy from Copeland before receiving a thunderous response from an eager crowd. He looked down at his fingers, and quietly began to work away at a set that would last longer than fifteen minutes. There is a seventeen minute clip awaiting your eyes and ears at the end of this post, and though the quality leaves a bit to be desired, it’s good enough to prove once and for all that no one commands a stage quite like Aaron Marsh.

As someone who never had the opportunity to see Copeland live, the idea of capturing Marsh solo is quite a tantalizing one. We’ll continue to follow his efforts and let you know when/if anything further develops. Until then, comment below and let us know your thoughts on Aaron’s return to the stage.
