UTG EXCLUSIVE STREAM: Fox & Cats – “Fair Share”

UTG Feature Fox And Cats &

Shooting out to you from Houston, Texas, Fox & Cats are an indie rock duo who claim scene influences from The Early November and Manchester Orchestra. I’d compare them more to a dancier Say Anything; their next release, This Is Your Brain On Love, comes out next week on July 23. Recorded with Kory Gable (Punchline, I Call Fives, Major League) in Atlanta, the whole record is an enjoyable listen, particularly this track, “Fair Share”.

The band describes their own sound as “Nothing fancy, just deeply honest, straight-up rock & roll with emotion and passion.” When talking about the band’s goals, drummer Nicole Wiggington said “We’re very ambitious as people and as artists. We want to take Fox & Cats as far as we possibly can. Artistically, we strive to create music that will appeal to a wide spectrum of listeners while staying true to music we love and are passionate about.

You can check out the lead single, “Fair Share,” here after the break. The band will be touring extensively for the rest of the year, so be sure to check them out when they’re in your area.

I finished school with a music theory degree. Before I finished school, I was a janitor. You really should apologize to all the janitors you've ever had. You hurt them. Seriously. You did.

But, now that we've cleared that up and you called your high school janitor, know that I quit being a janitor to pursue writing about music. So here I am, and here you are, and hey how are you?
You can skip to the end and leave a response. Pinging is currently not allowed.
