The Weeknd Shares Album Cover for ‘Kiss Land’

Canada’s The Weeknd has just released the album cover for his upcoming record, Kiss Land, due out September 10 through Republic Records, which can be viewed above. There are high expectations for the record, especially after he debuted the excellent “Belong To The World” last week. Give it a listen here.

Last year we saw The Weeknd re-release his three mixtapes to form Trilogy, but Kiss Land will actually be the musician’s first LP. It feels odd that such a well-respected musician has yet to drop a debut full length, but that time will come soon enough. It seems like he’ll be taking over the urban music world right after Kiss Land drops with his massive fall tour. See if he’s stopping near you by checking out his tour dates.

The Weeknd has also been nominated for “Artist to Watch” and “Best Visual Effects” at this year’s MTV Music Video Awards. Also nominated is Justin TimberlakeDrakeKendrick Lamar,  A$AP RockyYeah Yeah YeahsFlying LotusBeyoncéMiguel,Janelle MonaeLana Del ReyVampire Weekend, and more. Vote for which videos you think are the best at their website and read more about it here. Then follow UTG on Twitter to make sure you know everything there is to know about Kiss Land before your friends.
