Asking Alexandria Debut “The Death Of Me” Video

After a week of teasing, Asking Alexandria have released the official video for their latest single, “The Death Of Me.”

Taken from the new album From Death To Destiny, which is scheduled to hit stores August 6, the latest offering from the UK metalcore outfit finds balance between the group’s heavy and straightforward rock releases. “The Death Of Me” opens with driving guitars and never takes more than a few moments to relax throughout its entire runtime. Frontman Danny Worsnop takes center stage on the track, offering a vocal sampler platter of sorts, and the results are exactly what Asking Alexandria fans wanted. You can view the video, which features the girl from the album cover, below.

When all is said and done, “The Death Of Me” is not a vast departure for Asking Alexandria. In fact, it’s possibly the safest lead single they’ve had in their entire career. That said, it’s still a solid track that boasts plenty of replay value. I just wish it all felt a bit fresher than it does. Comment below and let us know your thoughts.
