According to Austin Carlile, lead vocalist of the California-based quintet Of Mice & Men, the group will be returning to the studio this coming August, assumingly to begin recording a new album.
Following a post on the group’s Facebook page earlier this week, the news officially came today via Carlile’s Twitter:
Last chance to meet me before I head back into the studio in NY beginning of August for TWO months :( Come see me! :)

Since the release of their last full-length, The Flood , in the summer of 2011, the outfit has seen multiple line-up changes, toured extensively, and re-signed to Rise Records, and though publicly working on new material since last year, extensive details have been scarce up until this week.
You can bet that UTG will keep you updated as this story develops; in the meantime, comment and tell us if you’re as excited as we are for Of Mice & Men’s upcoming album.
