STREAM: Kavinsky ft. The Weeknd – “Odd Look”

French electronic musician Kavinsky released Outrun earlier this year, and now he’s got a slew of remixes of “Odd Look” off that same album. Our favorite? The Weeknd‘s, of course.

The Weeknd’s version sounds very 80s and almost in line with something Michael Jackson would do (but that’s mainly thanks to vocals provided by Abel Tesfaye). Give it a listen in the video below. Other remixes include ones by A-Trak and Surkin. The group of remixes will be released on an EP titled Oddlook EP tentatively scheduled to come out sometime in August through Casablanca/Republic/Record Makers.

Two days ago we saw more information released about The Weeknd’s upcoming debut full length album, Kiss Land. His take on “Odd Look” is addictive, but it’s not nearly as much so as “Belong To The World,” which he released as a single last week. Play it safe and grab tickets for his upcoming tour now since it will definitely be selling out — don’t say we didn’t warn you.
