Ready to feel all hot and bothered on a Friday afternoon? If so, draw the shades and read on.

No one divides moviegoers quite like Lars Von Trier, and his upcoming film, Nymphomaniac, looks to be the most divisive yet. In a new clip released online Friday, July 26, viewers get their first glimpse as the film’s second chapter, Jerome. Though love is a shallow feeling in the eyes of the cynical nymphomaniac, young Joe (Charlotte Gainsbourg) is met by forces penetrating her armoured defences. Nothing graphic is shown, but the tension is palpable. You can view the clip below.

Nymphomaniac does not currently have a US release date, but is scheduled for a Christmas release in Denmark. Those wanting to see more from the world of Von Trier’s latest can click here to view a NSFW image released earlier this week.
