Ski Lodge Release Surreal Music Video For “Boy”

Ski Lodge is the kind of band name my dad would make fun of while discussing how much he loved groups like Styx or Jefferson Starship, but regardless of how simplistic (and somewhat) odd their name may be their sound is making waves in the indie community.

Earlier today, Ski Lodge released their new music video for “Boy.” The clip features a group of guys hanging out around a 7-11 on a summer afternoon. It starts off simple enough, but as the song progresses the characters in the video begin to daydream, and slowly the world around them begins to change.

Musically speaking, “Boy” is another indie pop gem from a band quickly building a catalog of dance-ready tracks. If you like what you hear, be sure to pick up the group’s new album Big Heart, due August 20 via Dovecote Records.
