Lana Del Rey Teases New Short Film ‘Tropico’

Lana Del Rey released the first details of Tropico, a mysterious 30-minute film that is “coming to a city near you.”

The movie stars Del Rey and actor Shaun Ross and appears to be a glorified music video (for three songs) from Del Rey’s recent EP. The project is characterized as “a tale of redemption told to the music of “Body Electric”, “Gods and Monsters”, and “Bel Air.” Directed by Anthony Mandler and produced by Rick Rubin, with photography being provided by Del Rey’s sister.
