Icona Pop chose to drop the Tim Nackashi-directed video for their new single “Girlfriend.”
This single riffs on the melody of Jay Z and Beyoncé’s “Bonnie & Clyde,” (which originally came from 2Pac’s “Me and My Girlfriend”). Watch out for “Girlfriend” to appear on Icona Pop’s forthcoming debut album, This Is…, releasing on September 24 via Big Beat Records.
