LISTEN: Danny Brown – “Dip”

No one loves to yell as much as Detroit rapper Danny Brown, and his new track, “Dip,” is no exception to this style. The song has already been performed live at several of his shows, but now we have the studio version of the track thanks to DJ/producer Mark Ronson who spun “Dip” for the first time during his recent set for The Boiler Room.

“Dip” is likely going to appear on Brown’s upcoming album, Old, which will be coming out later this year. The track samples Freak Nasty’s 1996 single “Da’ Dip” and references Jay-Z and Kanye West‘s “Niggas in Paris.” Hear the song at the 15:30 mark below.

Another number of new songs have surfaced over the past few months including “Kush Coma” with A$AP Rocky, his performance of “Dope Song” at Coachella, his part on the Trampy track “Be Yourself,” and his new “Numbers on the Board” freestyle.
