At midnight EST, The Devil Wears Prada launched the pre-orders for their forthcoming album, 8:18, on iTunes. Anyone who purchases the pre-order will receive an instant download of two of the tracks. Apart from a track here or there (and the entirety of the Zombie EP) the vocals have gotten worse and worse since Plagues. TDWP used to be one of my favorite bands but the vocals are just obnoxious now and ruin the music for me. The Zombie EP and most of the first half of Dead Throne are still awesome though.
This sounds a lot like “Disambiguation” by Underoath (2010), the vocal feel and the drumming/bass sync patters.
