It seems like 2 Chainz has been everywhere nowadays. After appearing on the new Drake track yesterday, 2 Chainz debuts his new single, “Where U Been?” (Feat. Cap 1), this morning for your listening pleasure.
Personally, the real spotlight on the new record is the verse from Cap 1 who hails from Chicago. His rapping style is similar to Wiz Khalifa, and definitely worth checking out.
The track was produced by Mike Will, and is slated to be featured on the 2 Chainz’ new album, B.O.A.T.S. II: Me Time, which is slated for a September 10 release date via Def Jam Recordings. Check out the new single, “Where U Been?,” via Soundcloud after the jump.

I really like what 2 Chainz is doing as of late. He’s slowly but surely starting to rap about real things. Still ridiculous, of course, but the talent he’s always teased is starting to come to the forefront.
