Grizzly Bear And All Tomorrow’s Parties Cancel I’ll Be Your Mirror Show

Brooklyn indie rock giants Grizzly Bear are known for beating their own path (and, to me, also singing beautifully acapella in Paris.) They teamed up with All Tomorrow’s Parties (ATP) to have their own fest that they aptly titled “I’ll Be Your Mirror.” Today, the two groups have cancelled I’ll Be Your Mirror. It was originally postponed earlier this year from May to November.

Ticket buyers were e-mailed this message on why the event was cancelled:

ATP and Grizzly Bear have sadly decided to cancel the planned I’ll Be Your Mirror London concert which had been postponed to November. Unfortunately there were problems with the venue and new date. Between us as promoters and the band it’s been decided that it would be wiser to cancel rather than disappoint fans by going ahead with an event that was not up to ATP and the band’s standards.

We will partially refund you for these tickets. The refund will appear on the card originally used for payment within 3-5 working days.

It seems even indie rock royalty is struggling to accomplish their dreams today. But if it’s any consolation, you can still watch Beirut drunkenly cover Grizzly Bear after the break.
