WATCH: Au Revoir Simone – “Somebody Who”

Dream pop ladies Au Revoir Simone will be sending their fourth album, Move in Spectrums, into the listening world near the end of September, and a sample of that sound can be heard on their new music video for “Somebody Who.” Watch the airy, dream-like video after the jump.

Move in Spectrums comes out on September 23 via Moshi Moshi in the UK and September 24 on Instant Record in the U.S. The Williamsburg trio, consisting of Erika Forster, Annie Hart, and Heather D’Angelo, last put out an album in 2009, Still Night, Still Light, but it seems this one will be pretty different. Based off “Somebody Who” alone, it looks like we’re in for more body-moving sounds than sleepytime Z’s — and I think I’m just fine with that.

The “Somebody Who” music video maintains washed out pastels associated with the band and now collides clean shots with planted locations (at times the girls even look frozen). Old houses are pretty, pretty girls are pretty, and pretty music is pretty. Drumroll for the word to sum it all up? Surprise; it’s pretty.
