Just when you thought it was safe to have sex without a fire extinguisher handy, the men in Kings Of Leon have announced plans to release a new album in less than two months.

Breaking over social networks shortly after 130PM (EST), Kings Of Leon have revealed plans to release a new album entitled Mechanical Bull on September 24. The artwork for the album, as well as the lead single “Wait For Me,” can be experienced at the end of this post.

Along with posting “Wait For Me” on digital retailers, Kings Of Leon have also launched preorders for Mechanical Bull through iTunes.

I was not a fan of Kings Of Leon’s last release, but “Wait For Me” has the kind of laid back rock groove you can drive to, and that’s something I can appreciate regardless of how I feel about any particular group.
