Maybach Music Group member Stalley has made good on his promises and debuted his new mixtape, Honest Cowboy, just in time for back to school madness.

Cowboys and MMG may not seem like they go together, but Stalley’s follow-up to 2012’s Savage Journey To The American Dream is one of the label’s strongest releases of 2013. The album features ten tracks (plus a “hidden” bonus track), and includes appearances from Schoolboy Q, Scarface, Joi Tiffany, and Crystal Torres. Many members of the Maybach Music Group try and top Billboard every time they drop a track, but Stalley has proven throughout his career that his focus is solely on creating engaging and thought-provoking hip hop. He’s not afraid of stardom, but he’s also not about to take the position he’s been given in life for granted in order to get rich off some bars he doesn’t believe in.
