Panic! At The Disco Debut “This Is Gospel”

Panic! At The Disco have released the official music video for their latest single, “This Is Gospel.”

The second song to surface off the band’s highly-anticipated new album Too Weird to Live, Too Rare to Die!, “This Is Gospel” does not stray too far from the PATD formula. The video opens to find frontman Brendon Urie held in a hospital bed against his will. He fights and fights, but an assortment of hands keep him pinned down. Once he finally breaks free the clip transitions to another similarly claustrophobic scenario and the setup repeats. It’s beautifully shot and pairs well with the song’s themes of loving something enough to let it go.

Of the two songs we’ve heard off of Too Weird to Live, Too Rare to Die!, “This Is Gospel” is by far the standout. It’s catchy, original yet in line with current pop trends, and completely absent of all those Fall Out Boy similarities found on “Miss Jackson.” Comment below and let us know your thoughts on the new material.
