B.o.B Responds to Kendrick Lamar With “How 2 Rap”

We have a feeling these “Control” responses are going to be a trend for the rest of the week, but promise to keep our coverage in check. If it gets to be a bit much, just say something.

Following hot on the heels of the Joell Ortiz track we posted earlier today, B.o.B has responded to Kendrick Lamar’s verse on Big Sean’s “Control” with a track of his own entitled, “How 2 Rap.”

Though he has become increasingly known for his ability to craft pop songs rather than rap, people tend to forget that B.o.B killed the mixtape market for many years before going mainstream. “How 2 Rap” finds Bobby Ray tapping into those roots once again, going in on Lamar while using the rapper’s signature ‘high pitch/low pitch’ flow. You can experience the track below.

This track makes two audio responses in less than 48 hours. I know a few rappers have taken to Twitter and radio as well, but unless they say something monumental it probably won’t appear here. New music, however, will always have a home on UTG. Comment below and let us know if you prefer B.o.B or Kendrick Lamar.
