Original American Idol Kelly Clarkson has released the official video for her latest single, “Tie It Up.”

A wedding themed single released fittingly to accompany the wave of wedding-related press Clarkson has been riding as of late, “Tie It Up” walks the fine line between country and pop with laser precision. The video features a montage of wedding footage from around the country, including some footage of Clarkson, and never seems to get enough of smiling faces. The song itself may not be as powerful as “Stronger” or “Catch My Breath,” but it’s certainly catchy enough to become stuck in your head for the next week or two. You can view the video below.

Kelly Clarkson has spoken multiple times about releasing a new album in 2014, but at this time no additional information has been made available. We hope the release of “Tie It Up” signals the start of the record’s promotional run, but that remains to be seen at this time.
