Taking Back Sunday To Release New Album In 2014 On Hopeless Records

Taking Back Sunday

The headline says it all. Today in a Facebook post, Taking Back Sunday said simply: “We are excited to announce that our next studio album will be out in 2014 on Hopeless Records. Okay now back to work on it.” This will be the band’s first release of all new material since 2011’s Taking Back Sunday (doubling as their second album since the return of the original lineup), and their first release overall since the acoustic live album from the Tell All Your Friends 10 tour came out earlier this year.

While there is no set release date beyond 2014, the band has been in and out of the studio working on this for a long time. It’s also interesting to note it will be the band’s first studio full length not on Warner Bros since Where You Want To Be was released on Victory Records in 2004. Remember Victory Records? Cool, let’s move on. Let us know your thoughts in the comments.

Always excited for new TBS material, and considering the pressure of the original lineup back together should have wavered by now and everyone has stopped moping about Adams change in vocal, I am jiggling with anticipation for what they have come up with.
