‘The ABCs Of Death 2’ Wants Your Short Horror Film

Earlier this year we spent a lot of time covering the release of The ABCs Of Death, a one-of-a-kind collection of shorts based on death and the alphabet. We praised the film, even though some chapters were far superior than others, and were pretty damn giddy to learn a sequel was in the works. Production is finally ramping up on the new project, and now the franchise creators want to see if you have what it takes to be included.

Starting this week, amateur filmmakers worldwide are being encouraged to submit their best short for a chance to become the 26th director featured in The ABCs of Death 2, which is currently scheduled for a 2014 release. All those interested in entering are asked to submit a film based on the letter “M,” which can be done through the official competition website. The deadline for entry is October 31.

We plan on being knee deep in ABCs Of Death 2 and would love to see any horror shorts submitted to this competition. If you take part, send us a link on Twitter and we’ll help get the word out!

I started filming my short film, M Is For Magick, yesterday. I should have it finished before the end of the month. I’m a follower on Twitter. I’ll let you know when I have it finished.
