Detroit rapper Danny Brown is teasing the release of his upcoming album, Old, by releasing a documentary titled The Old Documentary. Filmed back in 2009, the hour-long documentary was shot by Nic Notion and features interviews and live footage in accordance with the new album.
Old just saw its release date pushed back to October, or supposedly due to some of Brown’s tweets. Turns out he threatened to leak the album before its date… so naturally they pushed back the date. Read more about the ordeal here.
It’s expected that Danny Brown will be performing much of the material live when he tours with Action Bronson on the 2 High 2 Die Tour later this year.
