This fall, prepare to never look at hooking up the same again.

IFC Midnight has acquired the US distribution rights to Contracted, the latest horror film from Madison County director Eric England. The film is scheduled for a November release on VOD, as well as a limited theatrical run.

Contracted tells the story of Samantha, a quiet twenty-something who engages in a casual one-night-stand with a stranger and begins to show symptoms of what she assumes is a sexually transmitted disease. As time goes on she realizes something worse is happening to her. Something much, much worse.

We were fortunate enough to screen Contracted earlier this year and could not be more excited to see the film finally have an arrival date in the states. We are hoping to work closely with IFC to help promote the release, and will bring you additional updates regarding theater listing and trailer information as soon as it becomes available.
