Pop fans, the wait may be over.
The New York Post is reporting via their infamous Page Six that *NSYNC will be reuniting for a one-time performance at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) this Sunday, August 25.
So, how might this have come to be without anyone noticing? Justin Timberlake, who more or less is considered the frontman of *NSYNC, has been scheduled to perform at the VMAs and receive the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. No details about the performance portion of his appearance have been made public, but a source close to NYP tells them former bandmates J.C. Chasez, Lance Bass, Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick are scheduled to join him onstage. None of the members have commented on this rumor, of course, but it should be noted that they were all spotted in Timberlake’s VIP section at his recent concert with Jay Z at the Sun Life Stadium in Miami.
At this time The New York Post are the only source we can find claiming this to be true, but given the reputable nature of the publication, not to mention the other outlets picking it up, we believe there may be some truth to the story. We are continuing to seek more information and will update you as more developments arise.
