It Lives, It Breathes Cover Linkin Park & Slipknot

“Numb” was one of Linkin Park‘s most popular singles, which was on their sophomore album, Meteora. It’s the song that got me, and probably a few other people, into the band in junior high. “My Plague” is a Grammy nominated single released off Slipknot‘s sophomore album, Iowa. These are two very popular songs, written and performed by two very popular bands. The Rhode Island based metalcore outfit known as It Lives, It Breathes, recorded covers of both of these songs, as a tribute to each band.

For both of these covers, the band took their own personal sound and reimagined both of these tracks into something that sounds more like originals than covers. You can listen to each one by taking a look below the jump.
