In the Old Testament, the Book Of Exodus tells the story of the children of Israel leaving slavery in Egypt, and are lead by the prophet Moses. A movie adaptation of this book is currently in the works, and Variety has some exclusive details on the film. Exodus will star Christian Bale as the prophet Moses, and he will be joined by Aaron Paul (Breaking Bad), who will portray Joshua, Moses’ right hand man. According to Variety, Aaron Paul is currently in negotiations over his contract, and is expected to make it official shortly.
The movie will be directed by Ridley Scott, and will also star Sigourney Weaver and John Turturro as major characters. Check out Variety’s full article by heading right here.
