ANCIIENTS Featured in New Installment of Converse X Decibel

Canadian progressive metal outfit, ANCIIENTS, have released one of the best albums of the year and we’re pleased to see them get any and all much-deserved press. Heart Of Oak, which dropped in April and happens to have one of this year’s best album covers as well, should definitely be on your radar if you’re into any heavy prog-metal bands like Mastodon, Red Fang, and Baroness.

The band is currently set to hit the road this October in support of TesseracT and Scale The Summit but they were recently featured in an installment of Converse and Decibel Magazine’s collaboration where the band discuss where they live and how its wilderness and beauty influences the music they create.

You can view the video, which features their song “Raise The Sun,” after the jump along with the dates for their upcoming tour.
