Death Cab For Cutie Will Reissue ‘Transatlanticism’ for 10th Anniversary

Now that The Postal Service have ended their 10th anniversary run, it’s time Ben Gibbard renews his vows with Death Cab For Cutie‘s Transatlanticism.

The landmark album’s reissue will come out on October 29 via Barsuk with some demo bonus features. What’s even cooler than the album being pressed to vinyl for the first time in years (complete with a download code for demos of each of its 11 tracks) is that those lucky fans who have had an original LP all these years have the choice of purchasing these bonus features as a separate download digitally.

In addition to the album’s reissue, the band will be performing the album in full at their hometown of Seattle this weekend. For those people sitting in the audience crying, know the rest of us are too, only over how quickly time passes instead.
