Hear Paul McCartney’s New Song Called… “New”

Legendary member of The Beatles, and iconic for his own accomplishments, Paul McCartney has just released a new single titled “New.” The song is off his upcoming album, New. If there’s anything to take away from it all, it’s that he’s done with cutesy titles and is cutting to the chase. No word yet if the tracklist includes “Newer” and “Newest” as well.

“New” sounds like Revolver material with its heavy use of horns and simple structure. It’s available for streaming online (listen after the jump) and can be purchased on iTunes. The entire album will be released in the US on October 15, making it his sixteenth solo LP to date (and his first album of entirely new material in six years). More info will be released in the coming weeks.
