HOLY SH!T: It’s Seth Rogen vs. Zac Efron In First ‘Neighbors’ Trailer

Seth Rogen played a guy who wouldn’t grow up in Knocked Up, but in May 2014 he’ll find himself a father in need of those youthful ways (in order to destroy his neighbors).

The internet is alive and well this morning with the release of the first trailer for Neighbors (formerly Townies). The film, which stars Seth Rogen and Zac Efron along with a slew of notable comedic faces, pits a suburban family against a fraternity that recently moved into a vacant house on their street. Hijinks ensue, and as the trailer reveals things quickly escalate into an all-out prank war. You can view the red band clip below.

Zac Efron needs a hit with mainstream audiences and Neighbors could very well be the first step in the right direction. That said, for a movie due out in May, this trailer (the first we’ve found), seems to give away a lot of the film’s big gags. It could be clever marketing on the studio’s part, of course, but that doesn’t fit the pattern for Rogen vehicles. Comment below and let us know your thoughts on the video.
