UTG PHOTOS: THREE DAYS GRACE (8/11/13)

Under The Gun sent Head Of Photography, Kellie Gannon, to House of Blues Cleveland for Three Days Grace on August 11, 2013.

During the very music-filled and crazy busy month of August, I was able to see several incredible and musically diverse shows. One of the shows I had the chance to catch mid-month was Three Days Grace at House of Blues Cleveland on August 11.  Direct support on this tour came from fellow Vegas natives, Otherwise, as well as Trapt.

Otherwise have become very near and dear to my heart over the past few years. This group of very energetic and crazy talented guys consistently take the stage and give their all, no matter if they are opening the show or headlining, they make sure to own and murder their set every single time. They played their catchy, heavy hitting tunes to a sold out House of Blues, including songs from their acclaimed 2012 debut album, True Love Never Dies. Otherwise ended their set with one of their strongest and most meaningful tunes, “Soldiers.” This band is constantly touring and I highly recommend checking them out in a town near you.

Trapt took the stage and played a set full of memories, nostalgia, and classic Trapt tunes. They new played songs from their most recent release, Reborn, but undoubtedly their strongest songs that echoed the most intense crowd reactions were hits from prior albums including “Echo,” and “Who’s Going Home With You Tonight?” Their final tune of the night, cult favorite “Headstrong” had the entire crowd screaming the lyrics and moving nonstop in the pit.

Three Days Grace took the stage amongst intense lights and a lit up Vegas sign. Barrels lined the stage that I was told normally shot out fire periodically during their set, but sadly the HOB ceiling was too low for such pyrotechnics. Regardless, Three Days Grace played a passionate and dramatic set, with songs from their 2012 release, Transit Of Venus, being a focal point of the set.  Their encore included hits “Pain” and “Home” sending the crowd home on a high note after a crazy energetic show from all three incredible bands.  Check out the photos below from this awesome show and the full set here!!
