Austrian Death Machine Album Nears Completion

Tim Lambesis has been making headlines more for his life outside of music in 2013 than within, but today we’re going to talk about the art his fans have supported for years and, as far as we can tell, still want to hear.

Shortly before word broke about Lambesis’ arrest earlier this year he successfully crowdfunded a new album for his humorous metal side project, Austrian Death Machine. The project raised more than $30,000 for a new album, but in the weeks following Lambesis’ arrest, updates on the album were few and far between. Now, with almost no mention of the legal matters facing the project’s mastermind, an update has been released to backers and fans updating everyone on the progress with the record’s release. It reads:

“We booked mastering time this week to make the official CD with track markers and all! Now on to discussions about who will manufacture Triple Brutal so we can get it to those of you who have been waiting. As said before, we are sorry for the delay and appreciate the understanding given the major recent events.”

Lambesis has been largely quiet in recent weeks, but we’ll update you as soon as additional information regarding his trial or this release becomes available.
