Fall Out Boy Go Back To Their Roots In Take This To Your Apartment

If you haven’t picked up or seen the latest issue of AP, then you’re unaware that Fall Out Boy are on the cover in a very familiar pose. They reshot the cover of Take This To Your Grave, and now they’re giving you the back story of how that came to be with Take This To Your Apartment.

An editor for AP happened to come across a post on Twitter from Eva Aulicino. She’d posted a picture of her daughter’s new apartment in Chicago. The editor noticed it was the same one FOB shot their TTTYG album art in, and decided that it’d be a great idea to take the band back there.

In part of Take This To Your Apartment, the boys meet the girls inhabiting the apartment and tell them tales of when they’d been there; of course noting it was much cleaner now.

Fall Out Boy aren’t the first artists to head back to their old stomping grounds. Back in the day Mariah Carey visited her former high school for a Fox special, and most recently Lady Gaga was accompanied by CNN’s Anderson Cooper on a trip back to her old apartment in New York City.
