The Fall Of Troy Rumors Amplify

Yesterday, current Chiodos guitarist and former frontman of The Fall of Troy Thomas Erak turned Twitter on its head with word of an upcoming announcement that he deemed “seriously, worth the wait.” Almost instantly eager fans of both acts demanded clarity, unsure if the announcement he was referring to involved his current or previous band.

Today however, it would seem that fan’s of Erak’s earlier work will be able to breathe a sigh of relief, as several hours ago, Red 7 posted the following picture, which features the album artwork of multiple The Fall of Troy albums, as well as three question marks which assumingly represent a currently unspecified day, month, and year:

Though it is still unclear as to what these question marks actually represent, it seems less and less likely that Erak’s announcement, which is expected to break in the next several days, will address the comings and goings of his current outfit, Chiodos. Most are assuming that a TFOT reunion is in order which seems to be very likely but we may be surprised with something as simple as a boxset of The Fall Of Troy’s initial releases. However, in our interview with Erak in early 2012, when asked whether or not the band would ever reform, he stated, “I think somewhere down the road we will probably play again, at least I know I am always down to play with those guys.”

If The Fall of Troy does make any sort of announcement, it will be the first time the trio has been publicly active since their breakup in the spring of 2010.

As always, UTG will keep you posted as more details are brought to light. In the meantime, comment below and let us know what you think of this recent development!
