††† (Crosses) Sign To Sumerian Records

The group known as ††† (aka Crosses), is the side project of members of Deftones (Chino Moreno, Chuck Doom) and Far (Shaun Lopez). They’ve been together for a couple of years now, and have a pretty decent following. Yesterday they released an update video announcing that they’ve now joined the Sumerian Records family. You can check out the video by taking a look below the jump.

What are your thoughts on ††† signing to Sumerian? It seems a little strange to me, as the band doesn’t produce the type of music that Sumerian Records is usually known for (i.e. Asking Alexandria, City In The Sea, etc). They are a great band though, and it’s always exciting when a band signs to a label, so if you feel so inclined head over to their Facebook page to congratulate them on the signing.

Not to mention The Faceless, Born of Osiris, The Dillinger Escape Plan. However, they do sign pretty odd choices like Borgore and Body Count.
