You can always count on Frank Turner for an adorable acoustic song you’ll later try to recite to your special someone when finding your way home from a bar, and this morning’s new track from the UK favorite is no different. “Hits And Mrs” is the first song to appear online from Turner’s upcoming Losing Days EP, and in a way very similar to many of his fan favorites the track finds the songwriter telling a tale about a girl he admires. This time it’s pretty much a straightforward love song, only littered with poetic bits about hangovers and whatnot that makes it feel all the more genuine.
Losing Days was announced back in April of this year, just a month after Turner’s album Tape Deck Heart hit stores. The release features four tracks in all, including “Hits And Mrs” and a cover of Biffy Clyro’s “Who’s Got A Match.” You can purchase the EP on iTunes for less than five dollars.
