Meek Mill Releases “Ooh Kill Em” (Kendrick Lamar Diss)

Maybach Music Group member Meek Mill has been on a lyrical rampage this week and last night he kept the heat flowing with a new freestyle entitled, “Ooh Kill Em.”

Hitting the net via Mill’s Dreamchasers label, “Ooh Kill Em” is the second diss track to surface from the Philadelphia-based emcee in the last seven days. Following up on promise he made with the title “Kendrick You Next,” Mill uses “Ooh Kill Em” to begin has vocal assault on Compton emcee Kendrick Lamar with a number of references to his now infamous “Control” verse over a remixed version of “Forgot About Dre.” You can stream and download the track below.

In a tweet posted early last week, Meek Mill teased that the introduction to his long-awaited Dreamchasers 3 mixtape (due out this month) would be a response to Lamar’s “Control” verse. It is unclear at this time whether or not that track is the same one being streamed here today, but if I had to guess I would say it’s not. Mill takes his introductions very seriously, and this track feels a bit too loose to open something as hotly anticipated as DC3. Still, Mill has flow like no other, and “Ooh Kill Em” has plenty of gold bars worth keeping on your iPod for a week or two.

Meek Mill can next be heard on MMG’s Self Made Vol 3 compilation. Comment below and let us know your thoughts on “Ooh Kill Em.”
