Macklemore & Ryan Lewis Release “White Walls” Video

Doing their absolute best to keep their reign atop the pop charts in tact, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis have released the official video for their latest Heist single, “White Walls.”

By now it should be clear that Macklemore & Ryan Lewis do everything in their power to create videos that stand out from the vast amount of video content being pushed out by current urban artists. “Thrift Shop” and “Can’t Hold Us” both had original ideas wrapped in familiar performance concepts, and that appears to be the case once more with “White Walls.” Macklemore appears in a series of vignettes, including a bullfighter surrounded by hotties, a car lover in an auto shop, and as himself during wild rooftop diner performance, but at the end of the day it’s little more than a well put together performance piece. You can view the video, which features cameos from Big Boi, A$AP Rocky, Wiz Khalifa, Trinidad Jame$ and DJ Drama, below.

“White Walls” is not as immediately catchy as “Thrift Shop,” nor does it have the giant hook of “Can’t Hold Us Down,” but given the success Macklemore & Ryan Lewis have found in 2013 so far I have to believe they know what they’re doing by releasing this track as a single. Comment below and let us know your thoughts on the video.
