Hear a New Single From Tigers Jaw Off Producer Will Yip’s Compilation Album

In just a few weeks, producer and engineer Will Yip will release Off the Board: A Studio 4 Family Compilation, a collection of unreleased songs and B-sides by a great round of musicians he’s worked with over the past years. The compilation will feature songs by Title Fight, Circa Survive, Man Overboard, Balance and Composure, and Tigers Jaw. The record comes out October 8 and proceeds are going to Yip’s down payment to become a partner at Pennsylvania’s Studio 4 recording space.

“This compilation is about family,” Yip told SPIN. “It’s the coming together of a tight-knit community made up of the best bands and best friends I know all in one place.” One of the main members of that family is Scranton’s own Tigers Jaw. The band have contributed a slow, somber single called “Carry You Over” that features their typical back-and-forth, boy-girl vocals. Listen to the track here.

“Will is great at guiding bands to find the sound that best represents them,” said Tigers Jaw guitarist-singer Ben Walsh. “It’s an honor to be able to help Will establish a permanent home at Studio 4. He is one of the most talented and humble people I’ve worked with, and all the great bands that have agreed to be a part of Off the Board are a testament to the awesome things Will has done and will be able to continue doing for our music scene.”

Off the Board: A Studio 4 Family Compilation comes out October 8 and pre-orders of the compilation can be made at the Off the Board website.
