HOLY SH!T: The Trailer For ‘Escape From Tomorrow’ Is The Best Thing You Will See All Day

Randy Moore has pulled off the impossible. Not only did he successfully shoot a feature length sci-fi/horror film on the grounds of Disneyland and Disney World without the knowledge or consent of Disney, but he managed to find an internationally recognized distributor to release said work without Mickey Mouse himself burying the project in legal red tape. The first trailer for the film arrived online this morning, and if your taste in cinema is anything like ours you’re about to meet one of the most anticipated releases of the fall.

Most trailers debut online accompanied by a lengthy synopsis revealing any details the (often overly long) previews left out. Escape From Tomorrow has taken a different route since its Sundance premiere and instead is playing almost all of its secrets as close to the chest as possible. The trailer showcases that the black and white feature is shot on Disney and even offers a variety of clues as to the madness that soon ensues, but there are far too few reveals to piece together the actual story. You can view the clip below.

A description accompanying Escape From Tomorrow on IMDB reads: In a world of fake castles and anthropomorphic rodents, an epic battle begins when an unemployed father’s sanity is challenged by a chance encounter with two underage girls on holiday.

If that doesn’t get you excited, I assure you the footage will.

Escape From Tomorrow will be available on VOD and through a limited theatrical release in October. Comment below and let us know your thoughts on the first trailer.
