Kid Ink Releases “Money And The Power” Video

Keeping his best year to date going strong, Kid Ink has blessed the internet with a brand new music video.

Taking to the streets of Los Angeles with plenty of beautiful women in tow, Kid Ink has delivered a flashy montage of California living for his “Money And The Power” video. Slick editing makes the familiar scenes feel fresh, but there’s no denying the true highlight of this post is the song itself. You can view the clip at the end of this post.

Hip hop doesn’t have to be about proving yourself as the boss of all bosses or bragging about whatever material possessions you’ve been able to acquire, but all too often these days those seem to be the only topic major label rappers deliver. Kid Ink offers his fair share of rhymes on these themes, but his recently released Almost Home EP also showcases the young emcee’s ability to conquer a variety of additional topics as well. “Money And The Power” may sound like another brag fest, but in reality it’s just a tune about trying to live the good life; working hard for the money and the power, but remembering that it means nothing if you can’t have a little fun every now and again.

Almost Home is available now on iTunes. Kid Ink is still making his way towards becoming a household name, but with bangers like “Money And The Power” he’ll be rubbing shoulders with the likes of Big Sean in no time.
