Hear Low Cover Rihanna’s “Stay”

Slowcore indie pillars Low are notorious for their covers (apart from the whole slew of Christmas songs they do, too). From Neil Young to Outkast to Spacemen 3, they’re pretty open-minded to which genres they tackle. The next on their list is one few saw coming. In true quiet fashion, the trio have gone and covered Rihanna‘s 2012 hit “Stay” off Unapologetic. Hear it after the jump.

After performing the cover at the Pitchfork Music Festival this past July, Low decided to give it proper recording treatment. Since they first debuted it at the festival, the band decided part of the funds would go to the Pitchfork Festival charity partner Rock for Kids, an organization which provides music education to underserved children in Chicago.
