Ten year anniversary announcements have been bringing back some of our childhood favorites, one of the most prominent being Taking Back Sunday. The band announced to much excitement that they’re working on a new album, the third to be recorded with the original band lineup. Now, at a show this past Wednesday night, we can finally hear something off it.

At the Starland Ballroom in New Jersey, Taking Back Sunday took a moment of silence (the show occurred on 9/11) before launching into an unnamed new track. The song is a slower ballad, but they still bring crashing drums in alongside Adam Lazzara’s wailing vocals like the old days. It’s going to be off their new record which they said will come out sometime in 2014.
