It never stops happening, and it never gets any less sad. Once again, we’re hearing about a musician having to deal with major theft, and unfortunately Against Me! frontwoman Laura Jane Grace is on the receiving end this time around. As she tweeted several days ago, five of her favorite guitars were stolen.

Against Me! just released their flawless True Trans EP (for free!) this summer, and Grace was proud to ring in her first full year as a woman (read her talk more about it here). Now with five of her longtime favorite guitars missing, music making will be that much harder. Sorry, Joan Jett; the two of you can perform your co-written song together again sometime later. 

At least Laura Jane Grace knows the thieves will get what they deserve, adding “There’s a special place in hell reserved for guitar thieves” to the end of her tweet.
