STREAM: Dance Gavin Dance – “Acceptance Speech”

Dance Gavin Dance, the Sacramento based six-piece known for their consistent refusal to be lumped into a single genre, are currently streaming the title track off their upcoming album Acceptance Speech, due out October 8 via Rise Records. You can find it at the bottom of this post, after the jump.

This track is the second sneak peak of what will be the band’s fifth studio album, following the spastic “The Robot with Human Hair pt.4,” which was debuted earlier in the Summer. Notably, Acceptance Speech will also be the group’s first effort featuring their newest vocalist Tilian Pearson, who took over for Jonny Craig after his second departure from the band late last August.

“Acceptance Speech” is a rhythmically complex gem, laden with the dueling guitar work and interchanged vocal patterns that put Dance Gavin Dance on the map in the first place. If you’re as excited as we are for this album, be sure to grab a pre-order bundle here.
