Folk punk hero Frank Turner is throwing out new videos left and right (like “Polaroid Picture” a few days ago), and his newest curveball is the retro “Oh Brother” music video that came out today. We’re not talking wigs-and-faded-film retro, but real footage from Turner’s past retro. Like, cassette-era stuff. You remember those, right?
The music video has footage of a young Turner screaming into microphones and nodding behind drums–or at least we think that’s him behind all that hair–alongside his best mate. You may get a little choked up, so don’t be surprised if you give your brother, genetic or best friend, a call afterwards. Then if you’re loving every scene they pull, show a little love to the tape deck [heart] and flip through your old home videos.
“Oh Brother” is off Turner’s newest album, Tape Deck Heart, which is out now. Pick up a copy if you haven’t yet, then watch the music video below:
